Aqeelah Hendricks
Aqeelah Hendricks is the CEO/Producer of “Impact Studios”, a Director of AFRICANI (African Nations Art International), “Independent Women’s Forum” and of “Khanizeni”.

Aqeelah is dedicated to Fashion, Cultural Travel Tours, Community Projects, Heritage and Traditions.

Aqeelah was born in Cape Town, South Africa. After completing her Fashion Design studies she married and exchanged her passion for the Legal Fraternity. A Senior Paralegal during weekdays and a Community activist on weekends.

Aqeelah is the Co-founder of a NGO named “Independent Women’s Forum”. The company, today, is for more than 20 years in operation uplifting women’s development and empowerment, developing and managing various project and workshops on Image and Grooming, Poise and Etiquette, Fitness and Health as well as Fashion and Lifestyle dressing.

Founding her company Impact Studios in 2006, Aqeelah is a community leader, public speaker as well as a Lifestyle presenter to community based and corporate business.

Leaving the Legal fraternity in 2006, Aqeelah experienced the logistics of a Transport Company, a family owned business. Parallel to that she hosted a Young Designers Fashion Competition (On the Runway) in 2007 a show part of an annual event themed “It’s my Life”.

Servicing “Cultural Tourism”, Aqeelah founded “Khanizeni”, a Xhosa word meaning, “come” where she dedicates her focus, besides being the coordinator for all cultural groups, on Asian Culture, including Indian, Malaysian and Chinese culture.

AFRICANI In Concert, the marketing arm of AFRICANI engages her in showcasing the various cultures of South Africa expressing their culture in music, dance, poetry and fashion.

A qualified tourist guide, fashion designer, beautician and cultural enthusiast, Aqeelah has a flair for combining fashion portraying and expressing Cultural groups through tailor-made designs. Being a modest model and TV commercial artist Aqeelah is the mother of four, three daughters and one son, and grandmother of two girls.
